Students are spending two days on a mock case involving plant and animal cells. During day 1, students went to the science lab to identify plant and animal cells that were on microscope slides.
Day 2 - Student groups looked at photo "evidence" of cells and had to determine if they were looking at plant or animal cells. Then they had to choose which suspect they believe needs to be questioned further based on this evidence. Students can view the introduction to cells powerpoint here. Students assessed their notebooks and other students' notebooks using the following rubric.. The filled out the attached form. Final Notebooks are due Wednesday, October 19.
